A little less posing. A little more living.
I'm Oscar — a wedding photographer based on the South Coast, photographing weddings across the UK and beyond.
I've always been drawn to people. The way they are with one another, the things they do without thinking, the little moments that say more than words ever could.
That's what I love about weddings. You get all these people who matter to you in one place, bringing their own personalities, histories and relationships into the same room. There's so much happening beyond the obvious moments, and I love paying attention to it all.
You don't have to perform for the camera.
I want you to enjoy your wedding day. To be with your people, have a laugh, get a little emotional, dance badly if that's your thing, and actually be there for it.
I'll give you direction when it helps, step back when it doesn't, and do my best to make having a camera around feel like the least of your concerns.
I'm not there to turn your day into a photoshoot. I'm there to notice what's happening, understand what matters to you, and photograph it all with care.
The little things matter, too.
The glance across the room. Your dad trying to hold it together. The friend who knows exactly how to make you laugh. The people who have been part of your story long before this day.
Of course, I care about making beautiful photographs. I care about the light, the composition, the details and the craft. But the photograph means more when there's something real at its heart.
I want you to look back and remember not just how everything looked, but how it felt to be there.

Outside of weddings
When I'm not photographing, you'll usually find me enjoying good food, discovering somewhere new, listening to music or picking up a guitar or bass.
I'm a people person, a bit of an observer, and someone who appreciates the stories that make us who we are.
If that sounds like your kind of photography, I'd love to hear what you're planning.
Your people. Your day. Your story.
